Facility Nos. 244 (244 South Oakwood Drive), 250 (250 South Oakwood Drive), 252 (252 South Oakviiood Drive), 254 (254 Las Lomas Drive), 262 (262 Las Lomas Drive), 268 (268 Las Lomas Drive), 271 (271 Las Lomas Drive), and 274 (274 Las Lomas Drive)
COQ Type D houses were built over a one year period. Facility Nos. 244, 250, and 252 were completed January 23, 1934. Facility Nos. 254, 262, 268, 271, and 274 were completed November 28, 1934.
Construction of the COQ units was let in two contracts. McKee Company completed Facility Nos. 244, 259, and 252 on January 23, 1934, at a cost of $9,105.08 each. Meyers Company completed Facility Nos. 254, 262, 268, 271, and 274 on November 28, 1934, at a cost of $12,308.65 each.
The Company Officers' Quarters Type E dwellings were constructed in an irregular rectangular plan, with a one-story mass. The front elevations feature recessed porches, Intersecting and cross-gable roof lines, and a prominent front garage. They measure 71 feet 10 inches wide by 36 feet 4 inches deep. All have partially below grade basements.
